Safety

Schools are among the safest places in our communities. Still, emergencies can happen anywhere, at any time.

If an emergency happens, our first priority is the safety of all students and staff.

Christ The Redeemer (CTR) Catholic Schools uses the Hour Zero School Emergency Program and is guided by CTR’s Administrative Procedure GEN #17 Emergency Preparedness and Response to support emergency planning and response. Each school has site-specific emergency procedures, staff are trained regularly, and students participate in drills throughout the year so they know what to do in different situations. Hour Zero’s current program materials also emphasize standardized school emergency protocols, staff training, drills, and student release planning.

Our schools work closely with local emergency responders, including police, fire, and EMS. In an emergency, school staff follow established procedures and work in full cooperation with emergency personnel.

This section of the website provides parents and guardians with information about the emergency procedures used in Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools, including how schools respond, how families are informed, and what to expect if an emergency occurs.
