Service Hour Opportunities
Due to winter road conditions, rural bus routes in Okotoks, High River, Strathmore, Drumheller, and Canmore will not run today, including routes serving St. Francis of Assisi Academy. In-town bus routes in these communities will still run as usual. In Brooks all in-town and rural bus routes are expected to run normally. Affected families will receive communication directly from their driver this morning. Please also check the bus route status page on our website for updates. If possible, parents may make alternate arrangements to transport their child(ren) to and from school. Please do not leave children unattended at bus stops. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our families.
Lights, camera, strut. 📸✨🎭 Our Drama 20/30 students served looks and character on the runway while they prepare for their upcoming monologues.

The HTA Mission Costa Rica 2026 celebrated the dedication of the Holy Trinity Academy dorm room in San Jose. This room, located in the newly constructed “Torres,” supports the Asociación Obras del Espíritu Santo’s vision to provide long-term housing for vulnerable young people. The room is designed to house two young men, ages 18 to 25, supporting them as they attend school and transition into stable jobs. The room’s dedication features the scripture, “I can do all things in him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13), a verse personally selected by Padre Sergio Valverde Espinoza. Ongoing fundraising efforts by our school community—including bottle drives, cookie and bake sales, Purdie’s chocolate sales, silent auctions, and many other events—made this donation possible. Thank you for your ongoing support! 🇨🇷🇨🇦
What a great volunteer opportunity, HTA!
HTA Students, let’s get involved! 💚🖤💚

We are proud to celebrate the inspiring journey of Mrs. Stephanie Krueger, who has turned her lifelong curiosity about the world into a career rooted in service, compassion, and connection. From teaching Spanish and welcoming every student with a warm, inclusive heart to supporting newcomers with empathy, she embodies the caring spirit of Catholic education. Since 2014, she has also led our Mission Costa Rica trip, offering students a life-changing opportunity to build global awareness, serve others, and grow in faith. Her story shows how education at HTA goes far beyond textbooks, forming young people through faith, hope, love, and compassionate action. To read the full article, visit The Calgary Journal.
