Staff Recognition Forms

Each year, we recognize our incredible staff with four awards. They are: Above and Beyond, Christian Witness, Power of One and Excellence in Teaching. 

The Above and Beyond award is awarded to a staff member who deserves to be recognized as someone consistently demonstrating behaviors considered above and beyond their duties. The overriding criteria is that the teacher shows an outstanding contribution to the life of the school community. 

The Christian Witness award is awarded to a staff member who demonstrates exemplary leadership in the area of faith.  Embodying the Role of Catholic Staff Member, a teacher in a Catholic school makes Christ known to their community by joyfully embracing and living the Gospel, and the teachings of our Catholic faith.  

The Power of One award is awarded to a support staff member who demonstrates a strong belief in the value their work contributes to the vision, mission and fundamental beliefs of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools; shows an outstanding commitment to supporting stakeholders; shows initiative and resourcefulness; has  a positive, helpful and caring attitude; is viewed by colleagues as a builder of relationships and contributes to a positive work environment, including improving morale. 

The Excellence in Teaching award is awarded to a teacher who deserves to be recognized as an outstanding teacher. The overriding criteria is that the staff member has the ability to help all students to achieve their maximum potential.

Nominations are due  November 1 each year for the Christian Witness Award and March 1 each year for  Above and Beyond, Power of One and Excellence in Teaching.
