Students will be able to choose Summer School courses during the course selection process. Current Grade 10 students will be called from class to meet with an Administrator and Grade 11 students will choose their courses online (more details to come).   Once all course selection for all students is completed, online Summer School forms will be sent out via School Engage through your Parent PowerSchool account. Please watch your email for the form notification and be sure to submit the form by Friday, June 3rd, 2022. If your student has indicated that they wish to take Summer School and you have not received the form by the end of May, please email

Students will receive a confirmation of enrollment via email with their registration details in the last week of June.

Attendance in Summer School classes is imperative as courses are condensed to a short amount of instructional time.

It is imperative that students are available during the dates and times above for summer school.  ***The only exception to the above is ONLINE CALM.  We have always offered CALM in a flexible ONLINE format and students do not need to be available as described above.  Rather, they work on and submit assignments independently in alignment with their own schedules during this time frame and with a final submission date of July 19th.

Please note:

A student can only take two Summer School courses if one of them is CALM 20 online.

There will be no paper report cards printed for Summer School.  Summer School marks will be accessible via PowerSchool and on your Detailed Academic Report (DAR) through myPass (Alberta Education).

Final marks obtained through Summer School are submitted to Alberta Education by mid-August.
