  2. AHS has a volunteer program. Great opportunity to not only help the community but learn about careers in Healthcare. For more information or to see possible volunteer opportunities please visit AHS.ca.
  3. Mission Thrift Store is now accepting applications for Volunteers. If interested please email Karen Wilke at okotoks_assistant@missionthriftstore.com or stop by the store and sign up in person!!
  4. St James  Parish in Okotoks is looking for help with their Music Ministry. If interested please contact Catherine Klug at cklug4@icloud.com or Nancy in the Front Office.
  5. Children's Liturgy at St. James is looking for volunteers. Please contact Laura VanderSpoel at: vanderspoell@gmail.com if you would like to earn service hours by helping with the Children's Liturgy at 9AM or 11AM Masses.
  6. From January until May 2026, St. James Parish will be running Confirmation Preparation Program for students in Grades 6, and are in need of 10-12 volunteers to support us as Small Group Leaders. As Small Group Leaders, students will accompany a group of 5-7 candidates as a mentor, guide and witness to our faith, helping them grow in their relationship with Christ and His church. Leaders will be required for 6 Tuesday evenings between January and March as well as 1 Saturday in April. They will lead discussions and activities for the same small group throughout the program. We are in search of students aged 17 years or older, confirmed Catholic, mature, prayerful and faithful.   7. The Town of Okotoks is looking for volunteers for it's Pop Up Café. The Pop-Up Café aims to create a welcoming environment for community members who may be experiencing isolation or loneliness. Volunteers greet and welcome guests, engage in conversation, offer snacks and refreshments, play a game or do an art activity, and create a safe space for community members to join the café. Interested students can register at Okotoks.ca/volunteer or log into their volunteer account at www.myimpactpage.com.
