Our HTA Senior Girls Volleyball team hits the court for their first home games of the season this Wednesday! Come out, pack the gym, and cheer on your Knights! 📅 Wednesday, Sept. 16 ⏰ 5:30 PM & 8:00 PM Let’s start the home season with a great crowd. Go Knights! 🏐⚔️

Mr. Henning joins HTA this year teaching Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band 10/20/30, Jazz Combo 10/20/30, CALM 20, and Social Studies 30-2. Now entering his 10th year of full-time teaching, Mr. Henning spent the past eight years at J.T. Foster School in Nanton, where he taught junior and senior high Social Studies and Band. Music is also a big part of Mr. Henning’s life outside the classroom. He co-runs the Foothills Music Society Jazz Band and plays in the Rocky Mountain Jazz Band in Calgary. When he isn’t making music, he enjoys RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, as well as 3D printing and painting miniatures for the games he runs. We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Henning to HTA and look forward to seeing him continue our proud tradition of musical excellence! 🎶

Reminder: HTA Yearbook Cover Art Competition! Calling all HTA artists! There’s still time to submit your design for the 2026–2027 yearbook cover. This year’s theme is “A Journey of Faith. A Legacy of Knights.” The winning design will be featured on this year’s yearbook cover, and the winning artist will receive a FREE yearbook! 📅 Deadline: September 21 Check out the post for all design requirements and submission details. Mr. Nino joins HTA this year teaching Grade 10 and 11 Spanish and Grade 10 English. Before coming to HTA, he taught at St. Margaret School, a Spanish bilingual school in Calgary, and also spent several months teaching in Guadalajara, Mexico. Outside of the classroom, Mr. Nino enjoys playing soccer, practicing Latin dance, and playing chess. And if you happen to spot someone riding a rather unusual bike around town, there’s a good chance it’s him! 🚲 We’re excited to have Mr. Nino bringing his language skills, experiences, and energy to our school community this year. Welcome to HTA, Mr. Nino!

Mr. Ball joins HTA this year teaching Social Studies, Computers, and Business. He previously taught at Notre Dame Collegiate and earned his Education degree from St. Mary’s University in Calgary. Mr. Ball is also no stranger to HTA, having completed one of his teaching practicums here during his degree. Outside of school, Mr. Ball enjoys spending time with his wife and kids and is a big sports fan—especially basketball and golf. We are excited to welcome Mr. Ball back to HTA and look forward to all he will bring to our school community!

Our HTA Girls Soccer team had the opportunity to celebrate their League Banner win at our Sports Night last night. These girls did an amazing job this year coming together as a team and persevering through their season taking place in Fall and Spring. They defeated Foothills Composite 3-1 in the League final on Tuesday, June 2nd and we are all so proud of them. 💚⚽🖤

Please remember to empty your lockers and return your locks to the front office before you leave for the summer! All textbooks and books need to be returned to the library as well 🔐📚📖

Our short plays were a tremendous success this past week, showcasing the talent, creativity, and hard work of our Drama students. A special shoutout to our Grade 12 Drama students for their dedication and commitment to the program over the past three years. 🎭💚🖤

Congratulations to the Holy Trinity Academy Knights’ Boys Rugby Team who claimed the 5A Rugby Championship Banner in St. Albert over the weekend. The boys played exceptionally well and were great representatives for our school. 💚🏉🖤 Our Lady of Victory, pray for us. St. Patrick, pray for us.
