Today, our school community came together in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡 Students and staff wore orange, reflected on what “Every Child Matters” means by creating a collaborative mural, and came together to make bannock. Throughout the day, we took time to listen, learn, reflect, and honour the stories and experiences of Indigenous Peoples. With no school tomorrow, we encourage our students to continue this reflection on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and consider how each of us can contribute to reconciliation through learning, listening, and understanding.
