Student Expectations
We have very high expectations for our students here at Holy Trinity Academy. We pride ourselves on promoting the theological virtues of Faith, Hope and Love with all of our students and in providing a safe and caring learning environment. Students are expected to attend school regularly, fulfill their academic requirements and “do to others as you would have them do to you” (Luke 6:31).
In order to participate in extra-curricular activities and to take part in the Graduation Ceremonies in Grade 12, students must be in good standing in each of these areas of expectation. If any of these expectations are not met, our discipline process involves escalating consequences, parent communication and counselor involvement when warranted.
Use of Personal Devices at HTA
Starting September 1st, 2024, student learning and wellness will be prioritized by ensuring that devices are silenced and out of sight during class unless used for educational purposes. Social media access is prohibited on school networks and devices. At Holy Trinity Academy, students will be able to access their personal devices during non-instructional times, for example, before and after school, during transitions between classes, and during our lunch break. Students are always encouraged to have face to face conversation and interactions rather than being on their devices.
